A water material cannot differentiate between air and water. As a result, air bubbles cause the meter to spin faster, and as a customer, you have been paying for both air and water. Air can make up as much as 40% of the water passing through the meter.
Keep in mind that, by its very nature, H₂O always contains some air.

Airless technology creates a compression zone of up to 200 feet, minimizing the amount of air that accumulates in the water pipes before it reaches the meter. Once the water reaches the meter, only water is registered. As a result, the water meter's rotation will slow down. This combination of water and air control will allow customers to save up to 32% per month in commercial installations.

No, the valve is installed on the private side of the property. We are not altering or tampering with any municipal property. The customer does not need to request any prior authorization or permission to install the airless valve.
No, the valve does not affect the flow rate to the end user. The customer may experience a 1 to 3 psi drop in water pressure; however, at a standard level of 60 to 65 psi, this loss will not even be noticeable. This slight decrease is actually beneficial, as it helps to reduce waste and excessive consumption.
The Airless valve has been tested to withstand up to 185 psi, which is clearly more than enough for most commercial applications.
